Isabel 'Didi' Cutler
Isabel 'Didi' Cutler established and currently administers a monthly lecture series featuring women involved in global affairs at Meridian International Center.
Previously she served ten years with the New York City Commission for the United Nations & the Consular Corps, the Mayor's official liaison to the Diplomatic Corps.
She has also held positions in the UN's Radio and Television Department, and was Director of Cultural Affairs for Partners of the Americas in Washington, DC. Mrs. Cutler also represented the United States while her husband served as the US Ambassador to Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Committee for UNDP, Mrs. Cutler is on the Board of Directors of Young Concert Artists and has served on the International Advisory Committee for Very Special Arts.
A widely published freelance photographer, she frequently lectures on Saudi Arabia and the role of women in Arab countries. She maintains a Washington studio for portrait photography. Her book "Mysteries of the Desert: A View of Saudi Arabia " was published by Rizzoli International.
