UNDP-USA needs your help to raise the funds needed to help lift people from poverty. Fundraising is essential to our work and there are many things you can do to help.

Hold an event:

Events are great ways to get people involved in a cause. They can be as small or as large as you would like. In the past people have held themed potluck dinners, happy hours at local bars, or partnered with stores and restraunts to donate a portion of a night's proceeds to UNDP-USA.

Events are multi-functional because they work as awareness campaigns as well as fundraisers. If you choose to hold an event check out our planning guide. UNDP-USA can assist you with materials or help you locate a speaker in your area if you would like.

Our Somali Women's Scholarship Fund is the perfect project to get involved with. Currently UNDP-USA is looking for student and community groups to raise awareness and host events in their area to support the scholarship fund.
